Frequently Asked Questions

The Eisenhower Express is a service that retrieves and delivers books and articles for Faculty, Senior Staff, Graduate Students, and the disabled affiliated with the Homewood Schools. It only delivers circulating materials owned by the Eisenhower Library!

For book requests, please search the JHU online catalog. Find the bibliographic record for the desired book. Click the blue request button underneath "Holdings" at lower right corner of record. Enter your barcode and pin. Select pickup location as: "JHU Homewood Office (faculty and grad students)." Click "confirm" button.

For copies and articles, please use the Eisenhower Express Document Delivery Form. Express will process up to 5 requests a day for a patron; Express policy limits reproduction to a maximum of 60 pages per article or book section as long as this does not exceed fair use copyright considerations (15% of a book's total).

  • Note: Any materials in Special Collections or currently in Eisenhower Reserves are not eleigible for Express processing.
