Search plug-ins are accessed from the dropdown area next to the address block. Several come with the browser but you can install many more.
To add our search plug-in: Start at the JH libraries catalog. Click the arrow next to the search box in the upper righthand corner of your browser. Click Add "JH Libraries Catalog." Once you've added the search plug-in There are many plug-ins available for databases, search engines, and websites. A couple to get you started: - JHU Libraries' Catalog: Use the drop down menu in your browser (Firefox, Internet Explorer), and click Add "JH Libraries Catalog." This will perform a simple keyword search in the JHU Libraries Catalog.

See more "academic" search plug-ins here. To remove Firefox search plug-ins, click the arrow next to the search box in the upper righthand corner of your browser. Click "Manage Search Engines..." from the menu, and click the plug-in you want to remove, and click "Remove." The tools on this page are in "beta" and may not behave the same on all systems.
