We're experimenting with tools to help you find, get, keep, and re-use the information you need. Explore some of the things we've been working on as well as some useful tools from elsewhere that we think you might be interested in. The tools on this page are in "beta" and may not behave the same on all systems. Please try them out and kick the tires. Want to let us know what you think? Know of something that should be added to this list? Send an email to asklib@jhu.edu. LibX Johns Hopkins Edition is a toolbar for Firefox that provides direct access to JHU library resources. Search the library catalog, Google Scholar, and get embedded direct links to the JHU libraries' catalog from websites such as Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and the New York Times Book Review. Easy off-campus proxy access to library subscriptions and integration with Google Scholar makes your searching go that much faster. Learn more and download the JHU LibX Toolbar.
Used to searching the web from your web browser? We are, too, and didn't want you to be stuck without a way to quickly search the JHU Library collections. Add a search plug-in for the JHU library catalog or WorldCat to the search box in the upper right corner of your web browser.
See how they work and install these search plug-ins.

Learn more or download Write-N-Cite. Zotero is also not a JHU Library Beta, but while we're on the topic of easy citations, we thought you'd be interested in another option for tracking your citations.
