| Contains digital facsimile page images of virtually every work printed in England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales and British North America and works in English printed elsewhere from 1473-1700 - from the first book printed in English by William Caxton, through the age of Spenser and Shakespeare and the tumult of the English Civil War. Not all texts are fully searchable at this time. | | A comprehensive digital edition of The Eighteenth Century microfilm set, which has aimed to include every significant English-language and foreign-language title printed in the United Kingdom, along with thousands of works from the Americas, between 1701 and 1800. The collection consists of books, pamphlets, broadsides, and ephemera. When complete the collection will include nearly 150,000 titles. The texts are fully searchable. The collection is an ongoing project based on The English Short Title Catalogue (ESTC), a union list of the holdings of the British Library, as well as those of more than 1,500 university, private, and public libraries worldwide. | | The digitized version of Early American Imprints (Series I), the most important microform collection for the study of American history. The collection is based on books, pamphlets and broadsides listed in Charles Evans' American Bibliography and Roger Bristol's Supplement to Evan's American Bibliography. Readex and the American Antiquarian Society produced the original microform set and are working together to produce the Digital Edition. When complete, the collection will include over 36,000 imprints. | | Provides electronic editions of selected texts by philosophers and political economists, along with basic search and retrieval software. Foundations of Political Theory an Organized Section of the American Political Science Association. Exists to advance the linkage of political theory and philosophy with political science as a discipline. Foundations recognizes and encourages research and teaching that crosses intellectual and disciplinary boundaries. It stands at and seeks to support the intersection where philosophical, psychological, normative, and empirical approaches and problems meet.
