To find book reviews, you need the author and title of the book as well as the year of publication. Generally, book reviews appear in the year or year after the book was published. Not all books are reviewed and sometimes it takes a couple of years for a review to appear. Most of the core political science journal article databases described earlier in this guide provide references to book reviews. Academic Search Premier, JSTOR, and Project Muse are good first choices when looking for the full-text of reviews in scholarly political science journals.
