How to get  BOOKS

1)
During business hours, anyone may go to the reading room to read or photocopy pages. You should call ahead to make sure that the book is on the shelf.

2) Registered borrowers may check out the book from the Reading Room by taking it to Bonnie or other attendant in the office there. Books have the same loan periods as the rest of the MSEL collection.

Please RETURN Reading Room books by turning them in at the Circulation Desk in Eisenhower or personally giving them back to Bonnie.

3) Registered borrowers may also call Bonnie at 6-4722 to request the book. The Reading Room staff will deliver the book to MSEL Circulation within 4 business hours of receiving the request. The book will be held for you at MSEL Circulation desk for 10 days.

4) Eisenhower Express -- Faculty, senior staff, or grad students can use Eisenhower Express to have books brought to their Homewood offices.

How to get  JOURNAL ARTICLES

STEP 1: Please check our E-Journals link (choose the first letter of the journal title) to see whether the year of the journal is available electronically. If your title, or the year that you need, doesn't appear, please check the Libraries catalog for additional online links.

STEP 2: If you cannot get the item online and the catalog says that the volume is in the Bloomberg Reading Room, Reading Room staff will photocopy articles from journals and will fax them to you within 4 business hours of receiving the request.

STEP 3: If you do not want a fax, staff will deliver article to MSEL Circulation within 4 business hours for you to pick up. Faculty, senior staff, and grad students may also use Eisenhower Express (see above).

PHOTOCOPY MACHINE
There is a photocopy machine in the Reading Room.
