Milton S. Eisenhower Library has an excellent collection of videos and DVD's. Feature films from Europe and Latin America are well represented.
European Film Archives: provides access to moving image collections of currently five European film archives for cultural and commercial purposes.
In addition, the library collects feature films that support the Film and Media Studies program. - Visual and audio materials (videos, DVD's, laserdisks, CD's and cassettes) DO circulate. The Audio-Visual Dept. on A-Level also maintains facilities for viewing visual materials in house, including a PAL viewer.
| - To find (nearly) all the films in a particular language, do an Advanced Keyword search in the Libraries' Catalog :
Choose "Videos, DVD's, films, slides, etc." as Material Type. Choose the appropriate Language. Type in "videocassette" or "dvd" as a keyword (General or Subject).
| | - Instructional videos and sound recordings are generally not collected by the library. To find materials of this type, visit the Language Teaching Center in 511 Krieger Hall.
