They are the shelves that run east and west. Each row has a call number sign at the top indicating which call numbers can be found in that row. The areas highlighted in yellow are the Eisenhower stacks on C-Level.
The Science reference area of C-Level is comprised of two different sets of shelves - a series of short wooden shelves and directly next to them taller metal shelving. All the shelves are labeled SCIENCE REFERENCE. You will not find Eisenhower Stacks books in the Science Reference area. These shelves run north and south. The area highlighted below shows the small area that is Science Reference.
Where are Current Science and Engineering Journals? The current issues of all paper format science and engineering journals are held in the open shelves near the Science Information Desk. These shelves run north to south like the Science Reference shelves. Individual volumes are filed in this area until they are bound. After issues are bound they are moved to the stacks and filed by call number. The area highlighted below shows the area that is for current science and engineering journals.
Where are the art and architecture books? Art and architecture books and journals in the Eisenhower Library are filed on D-Level. The books will generally have call numbers that begin with N. The area highlighted below shows the areas on D-Level where N call numbers are filed.
