NanoBioTechnology

Nanobiotechnology encompasses many disciplines and techniques. Here are resources for nanobiotechnology and related areas.

Books  |  Journal articles  |  Ethics Government sites |
Reports and online sources  |  Classes at JHU  |  Additional information

Books

A catalog search on the ADVANCED KEYWORD screen works best. For example:

Here are the books that we own in the Springer Series in Nanoscience and Technology, if you want to look at titles in only that series.

Journal Articles and E-books

Most of the article databases on the Engineering Databases page will be very helpful, including Compendex (a huge engineering database):

Remember to try searching with other words, such as nanotoxicology, nanotronics, and nanoparticles.

Or, just use  nano*  -- this will bring up all the articles with words that start with this.

For protocols, see Nanobiotechnology Protocols, 2005

Ethics and Law

Not surprisingly, information about "nanoethics" (but use "nanotechnology" and "ethics" to get the largest number of hits) can be found in very diverse kinds of sources, including philosophical, medical, and legal, as well as in engineering databases such as Compendex (see above).

  • PubMed (use LIMITS, and under SUBSETS choose  "bioethics")

Encyclopedia of Bioethics (put "nanotechnology" in the search box):

Lexis-Nexis Academic and Lexis-Nexis Environmental offer law review articles and various kinds of hard-to-find information, respectively:

Government Sites

Reports and Online Sources
