Beilstein and Gmelin via CrossFire Commander

Beilstein (1771+) is a database of organic compound properties, structures, reactions, and references to the journal literature of organic chemistry. Gmelin is the inorganic and organometallic counterpart to Beilstein.  Both databases have flexible and powerful searching by substance, property and/or reaction. Substance searching includes exact structure, substructure, CAS number, molecular formula, name, and many more choices.

How To Access Beilstein and Gmelin...

...In the Library

People affiliated with Johns Hopkins University and Medical Institutions may use Beilstein and Gmelin on the workstations in the Milton S. Eisenhower Library using CrossFire Commander: Look for the SciFinder/Beilstein/Gmelin folder on the computer desktops.
