DESCRIPTION and COVERAGE
HLAS originates from the Hispanic Division of the Library of Congress, and provides scholarly evaluations of books, book chapters, articles and conference papers in the field of Latin American studies. International in scope, HLAS indexes over 550 humanities and 1,350 social sciences journals. Coverage begins in 1990; humanities or social sciences are covered in alternate years.
