The collection is based on books, pamphlets and broadsides listed in Charles Evans' American Bibliography and Roger Bristol's Supplement to Evan's American Bibliography. Readex and the American Antiquarian Society produced the original microform set and are working together to produce the Digital Edition. When complete, the collection will include over 36,000 imprints.
