Data Management Consulting

Working closely together, ELP and the Data Conservancy has worked to create a new data management service available to JHU researchers. A major goal of these serves are to provide JHU researchers with consultative data management services at the proposal stage and data management services for the post award stage.

The National Science Foundation now requires proposals include a data management plan. Researchers may have heard about this new requirement, but it is sometimes less clear exactly what this means in terms of preparing a proposal.  This new data management service can help researchers to identify the information needed to develop a two-page data management plan, building on expertise gained through the Data Conservancy.

Data management consultants are available to help craft and refine the data management plan while keeping NSF directorate specific criteria and expectations in mind. This new service also has established what will continue to be an evolving web presence.

For any further information regarding this service, please contact a JHU Data Management consultant.

It has been important that these serves are  developed and created a sustainable operational environment for services emerging from the Data Conservancy.  These services are funded by various JHU schools, so these services are free for faculty.
