Entrepreneurial Library Program Linda Moravec Blake In February 2004, Linda Blake returned to the George Peabody Library as Special Events Coordinator, the position she held since 1999 prior to the closing of the library in 2002 for extensive renovations and restoration. Now as director of the Private Events Rentals program, Linda handles a variety of responsibilities that include the selling and booking of all events, coordinating services with the approved catering companies and additional third party service providers, the day to day business activities of the GPL events office and the management of the event and student staffs for the events office. In addition Linda acts as a liaison to the GPL Library Staff, The Peabody Institute, the Entrepreneurial Library Program of Johns Hopkins University and the main point of contact with the Greater Baltimore/Washington D.C. hospitality industry. Linda's professional interests are to build and maintain a strong repeat client base that is compatible with the unique interest of the George Peabody Library. The George Peabody Library’s annual events should be as select and rare as the Library’s own collections. The George Peabody Library | |||
