Technical Services

The Technical Services Department orders materials for and provides intellectual access to the collections of the Sheridan Libraries, the Columbia, Downtown, Montgomery County, and two Washington Center libraries of The Johns Hopkins University as well as the Villa Spelman Library in Florence, Italy. In addition to the physical collections, the department facilitates access to electronic resources that are licensed and accessed in remote locations, to locally digitized resources, as well as, to born digital content that resides outside the domain of the library.
