Business / Economics

Here you will find sources that aggregate statistics related to the U.S. economy or sources that give a statistical picture of the state of business or industry. If you are concentrating on a specific industry, go to Statistical Resources page to determine if the industry may also be listed as a separate subject. (e.g Agriculture or Transportation)

Some sources classify business and industries by codes. Learn more a bout NAICS , the codes that replaced SIC.

If you are looking for numeric information on individual U.S companies, (financial reports, stock quotes, etc.) see Guide to Company Research or List of Business Databases. Map businesses by location using Arc View GIS software.
