The Center for Educational Resources seeks proposals from humanities and social science faculty for projects that broaden student access to 21st century careers. A full Request for Proposals is available in PDF format. Proposals are due Wednesday, May 23, 2012 by 5:00 PM EST.

Publishing tips workshop on April 12, 2011


Please join the JHU Press and the Sheridan Libraries for a workshop on publishing opportunities for graduate students and new faculty members. We will offer advice on several topics including:

1. How can a publisher help me turn my dissertation into a book?

2. What should I look for in a journal publisher?

3. What is Open Access and how might it impact me?

4. And what about copyright?

The workshop will consist of presentations by staff from both the Press and the Library followed by small group discussions.

When: Tuesday, April 12, 2011, 10:00 am to noon
