The McNaughton Plan

Since fall 2003, the Sheridan Libraries have leased popular current fiction and nonfiction books in support of patron interest and the Writing Seminars Department. Books in this collection, known as the McNaughton Plan, are arranged by author's name and include mysteries, science fiction, and authors like Dave Barry, J.A. Jance, Janet Evanovich, Garrison Keillor, and Anna Quindlen. The dust jackets remain on the books to make browsing easier. New titles arrive each month and are added to the library catalog.

McNaughton books can be checked out for two weeks with one renewal. You may check out five books at a time. No holds or recalls are done for McNaughton Plan books due to the short loan period.

This collection of materials is made possible through the generous funding of Charlton G.C. Friedberg, a member of The Friends of the Libraries.
