Virginia Massey-Burzio Receives Mudge Award

Virginia Massey-Burzio, (fourth from right) Head of the Resource Services Department of the Milton S. Eisenhower Library, has been awarded the 1999 Isadore Gilbert Mudge Award by the American Library Association (ALA). This annual award recognizes excellence and national leadership in the area of reference librarianship. Virginia received the award at the ALA Annual Conference in New Orleans in June.

The Sheridan Libraries encompass the Milton S. Eisenhower Library and its collections at the Hutzler Reading Room, Garrett Library and the George Peabody Library.
